Tuscany is known all around the world for its red wines such as Chianti and Brunello, but maybe you are not aware of the fact that this region is also perfect to grow white grapes, both local varieties such as trebbiano toscano, malvasia, vermentino, or french grapes like chardonnay. This tour will make you discover this hidden side of Tuscany with a visit to two different wineries that pro- duce white wines, to see the vines and all the steps to obtain it. In addition, you are going to try also vinsanto: our typical dessert wine, also made with white grapes but in a totally different way. You may think that whites are less complex than reds, easier to drink and appreciate and it can be true, but don’t presume that they are all the same! Full Tuscan lunch is also included at the second winery; visiting just two wineries you will find dry whites, sweeter, still, sparkling, salty, and more.
