The Brunello di Montalcino is one of Italy’s most prestigious wines, admired by enthusiasts worldwide. Its production began in 1888 thanks to Ferruccio Biondi Santi, who innovated using only Sangiovese grapes. To achieve its distinctive character, Brunello ages for at least five years, including two in oak barrels. This method, refined over time, has helped elevate Brunello into one of the world’s finest wines. During this delightful day, you will explore its unique flavors and discover the process behind its creation. You will visit two enchanting wineries, enjoy tastings, and have a light lunch at one of them. There will also be about one hour to explore the charming town of Montalcino.
